Hello, my name is Herman Aguirre, and in my lifetime I've worked mainly in the construction industry: Doing everything from carpentry to home building, real estate, construction estimating and safety. I was also self employed as a silversmith, and worked on teletype repair while in the Army.
Several years ago I was looking through my photo albums, and realized most of my older family photos were either fading or damaged, and in need of repair. I started working on the old photos using the photo editing software that was bundled with my digital camera, and that’s when I began to acquire an interest in digital graphics—and found my calling.
Later on I noticed a Photoshop course offered by Doña Ana Branch Community College, and decided to enroll. Well to make a long story short—the Adobe Photoshop application led me to Illustration, website design, desktop publishing, and 2D/3D animation.
In two short years, I learned a tremendous amount about digital graphics design, and am looking forward to putting my newly acquired skills to use.
Thank you for visiting my website, and please look through the Gallery—where you will find some interesting examples of my digital graphics skills.
